- External seam taping detail and dye cut taping around pocket openings.

- Two chest height pockets with water resistant zips, mesh lined for venting.
- Two low profile hip pockets with water resistant zips, mesh lined for venting.

This is a great lightweight windproof jacket. For those of you who do not know about softshells, they are like fleeces in terms of the warmth they bring. The differences are that they pack down much smaller and so take up less room in your bag; they are windproof unlike fleeces which make no attempt to stop the wind and finaly they have a water repelling finish which makes them able to keep you dry for a while in anthing up to a drizzle. This jacket is at home as a shell on the top of a mountain on a cold windy day or just as a jacket to wear around the town on a winter day.
